Filpro Automotive boast a portfolio of products covering filtration, workshop consumables, antifreeze/coolants, performance chemicals, fuel additives and car care; being partnered with market leading brands and world class manufacturers including FRAM Filters, Prestone, Holts, Redex, Simoniz, Safeline Brakes, Indy Oil.
To further expand the portfolio of offerings and strengthen its position in the automotive aftermarket, in February 2020, Filpro Automotive Australia acquired Powerdown Australia; a leader in Australian designed and developed shock absorbers and ride control components for trucks, trailers, buses, commercial vans and 4WD with over 36 years of experience in the suspension industry.
Powerdown are the manufacturers and/or distributors of Powerdown branded OEM and aftermarket products; and their expertise is extended to the four-wheel drive market with RAW 4X4 branded products. Designed and developed specifically for Australia’s harsh operating conditions, the comprehensive range of suspension components are designed for excellence in performance, safety and value.
The Group’s manufacturing capabilities and extensive distribution network significantly expanded the availability of Powerdown’s suspension products to customers in Australia, New Zealand, Sub-Saharan Africa, the middle East and the United States.
